ALTA’s September member meeting welcomed 40 members
The Arizona Luxury Transportation Association (ALTA) held a general membership meeting on September 15 at the Hilton Airport in Phoenix. The packed-house evening event hosted 40 members from across the Southwest and welcomed guest speakers.
ALTA President Hillary Louarti of Diamond Transportation was pleased with the turnout, particularly the number of new operators, and said that the meeting offered a “great learning session” for the newbies.
“We’re looking to grow the association and enhance the participation of our members,” said Louarti.
With the recent formation of six new committees inside the association, Louarti said they’re building a lot of interest while members get their proverbial feet wet within the group.

To kick off the meeting, Louarti shared that the ALTA recently received a grant from the National Limousine Association, which will help with the planning of a summer educational summit in 2027. Following the announcement, two guest speakers were welcomed, including a representative of the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, who fielded questions and discussed changes. Then ALTA Director Sean Grady of TruView discussed the always hot topic of insurance.
The meeting concluded with a “Meet the Affiliates” forum, which saw eight operators set up tables to introduce themselves to fellow operators. Louarti says that this was a particularly valuable segment for those looking to add on new IOs.
ALTA is also encouraging affiliate members to join from outside markets. Additionally, the association has launched a weekly newsletter for members to keep them up to date on industry and regional news.
ALTA’s next event is an October 13 Zoom webinar that will address when to add to your fleet and the pros and cons of buying vs. leasing. Then, on November 17, the association will hold their annual Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament.
