The California Ground Transportation Regulatory Group (CGTRG) continues to strengthen its commitment to the chauffeured service industry in California by announcing several new partnerships. Already regularly active with the regulatory agencies within the state—the association frequently meets with officials on behalf of operators—CGTRG is expanding its presence to include the California Bus Association (CBA), which represents motorcoach operators across the Golden State. Mark Stewart, one of CGTRG’s co-founders, is an active member of CBA’s Legislative Committee. CBA will hold its annual convention this October in Visalia.

CGTRG, fresh off its successful June Mixer and Education Event, is planning on holding another this September at the Proud Bird in Los Angeles as a way for members and industry professionals to mingle and share ideas and important updates. Tentatively scheduled for September 16, we’ll provide more details once they are available.
Finally, CGTRG announced a partnership with SoCal Penske Professional Vehicles, led by longtime industry vendor Greg Maddox and Jesus Benitz. CGTRG calls the organization an “invaluable asset to the California ground transportation community” with its lineup of vehicles and commitment to customer service.
