The National Limousine Association (NLA) announced that it will hold a special election to fill the seat vacated by Northeast Region Board Member Tracy Salinger of Unique Limousine, who recently resigned for personal reasons. The NLA Board thanked Salinger for her service during a recent call.

As such, the association is now seeking nominations from operators based in the Northeast, which includes Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Vermont.

Additional criteria:

  • Individual must be an active corporate officer or senior executive of an Operator.
  • Company must have maintained its membership for at least the most recent two consecutive years.
  • Any Operator sharing common ownership with another Operator Member can only have one representative on the NLA Board of Directors at one time.
  • A member of the NLA Board shall not be a member of another board of directors that is competitive to the NLA or the limousine industry.
  • Membership dues must be current for the Operator Member.

“I know firsthand that we have many talented operators in the Northeast and I can’t wait to see who throws their hat in the ring for the special election. Thank you in advance to those that are ready, willing, and able to serve,” wrote NLA President Brett Barenholtz of Above All/Maine Limousine in his weekly President’s Message.
