CD's Educational Program In Miami Focuses on Core Principles of Running a Successful Operation
- Details
The kids may be out of school for the summer but we’re already planning to get you back to the basics this fall. The high-quality workshops, seminars, and micro-sessions you’ve enjoyed at our previous events will return October 11-14 when the Chauffeur Driven Show heads to Loews Miami Beach Hotel—and you won’t want to miss the exciting new offerings that we’ll debut in South Beach.
The central aspects of your business—your employees, your fleet, your ideals—will be at the forefront of this year’s educational focus. Our Education Committee, now co-chaired by Kristen Carroll of The LMC Group and Jason Sharenow of Broadway Elite Chauffeured Services Worldwide, has been hard at work finalizing the many learning opportunities you’ll find at our show.
As TNCs continue to restructure the landscape of ground transportation, we’ll help you navigate this newly formed terrain by providing tools to attract the talent your company needs, train and retain the all-stars who help keep your luxury operation running smoothly, and point your company in the direction you want it to go. You’ll learn about fostering the kind of company culture you can be proud of, find out how to dazzle and keep your customers, receive a few pointers on how to turn the small things you should do for your business into completed tasks, and get some free legal advice—all of which you’ll be able to immediately apply to your business. Many thanks to Educational Program Sponsor FASTTRAK Cloud Livery Systems.

We’ll hit the ground running on Sunday, offering a range of workshops presented by recognized industry experts. Beginning with Jon Epstein of Royal Coachman Worldwide and Tony Simon of Reston Limousine offering insights into “Defining, Driving & Leveraging Your Company Culture,” the show’s first day will then feature four additional sessions: “Are Your Employees Working for You? Aligning Performance Management with Strategic Vision,” presented by Eric Devlin of Premier Transportation and Kristen Carroll; “Chauffeur Recruiting Wars: Beat the TNCs at Their Own Game,” presented by Bill Faeth of Inbound Marketing Agents, Bruce Heinrich of LEADER Worldwide, and Michael Solomon of USA Transportation; and “Wage and Hour Laws and the Basics of Contractual Negotiations,” presented by Patrick O’Brien of Daniel Crowley & Associates and Roberta Pike of Pike & Pike. Running concurrently with O’Brien and Pike’s legal session is “Building an Affiliate Network from the Ground Up,” presented by Sami Elotmani of Destination MCO and Jorge Sanchez of Hermes Worldwide, which will set the stage for Tuesday’s affiliate-centric offerings, such as the International Meet & Greet, Affiliate Central Global Partner Forum, and both Music Express Worldwide’s and EmpireCLS Worldwide’s affiliate meetings.
On Monday, you won’t want to miss Eric Schulman from the sales and management expert Sandler Training. Schulman, who’s no stranger to the industry and has spoken at a number of peer groups, will discuss “13.5 Things You Won’t Do to Grow Your Business,” where he’ll highlight all the to-do items that never get resolved but should. Later that day, our Keynote Speaker Terry Jones, who founded both Travelocity and Kayak, will offer up an education of a different kind when he talks about his experience with disruptive technologies, their influence on the travel sector, and how the chauffeured ground transportation industry can still thrive in these rapidly changing times. Our Keynote Sponsors are Grech Motors and Mosaic Global Transportation.
