Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas — On February 13, the Dallas Fort Worth Limousine and Motorcoach Association (DFWLMA) sponsored a chauffeur appreciation event at DFW Airport’s Terminal B. Free coffee and donuts were provided to chauffeurs during the busy morning hours.
Despite the uncommonly cold 40-degree weather, the event was deemed a success by the association. Eight carafes of coffee and 15 dozen donuts were given out during the three-hour event.
“We are so grateful to all of the professional chauffeurs in the DFW metroplex who serve as ambassadors to the many visitors that come to our city,” says DFWLMA Vice President Todd Davis of Premier Transportation.
Given the strong turnout, and the appreciation showed by the chauffeurs, the DFWLMA already has plan to do something similar in the summer.

Las Vegas — We’re less than a week from the CD/NLA Show, and the excitement is building on all fronts for the inaugural event that is being co-produced by Chauffeur Driven (CD) and the National Limousine Association (NLA).
One of the most buzzworthy events in the jam-packed four-day schedule is the NLA’s Annual Membership Meeting, which will take place on Monday, February 24 from 9:45am-11:00am at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino.
The meeting will feature updates from the Show Education and Membership committees, EVINS Communications will be on hand to talk about the association’s public relations efforts, and Cornerstone Government Affairs will speak about legislative issues that are impacting the industry. Cornerstone will also offer a sneak peek at the NLA’s Day on the Hill, which is scheduled for June 9-10 in Washington, D.C.
“As our first-ever CD/NLA Show approaches, I want to encourage all NLA members attending the show to join us for the Annual Membership Meeting. This is one of my favorite events every year because it gives the membership as a whole the chance to get a more insightful look at the hard work the NLA has been doing over the past year as well as the exciting projects and initiatives in the works for the future,” says NLA President Gary Buffo of Pure Luxury Transportation.
Buffo adds that the NLA has been busier than ever with new programs, including the No Operator Left Behind initiative specifically geared toward educating smaller and midsize growing companies, but is excited to meet with all of the association’s dedicated members. He invites members to share their questions during the meeting, and welcomes any non-members who might be interested in joining the NLA or getting more involved in industry advocacy.
Additionally, NLA members and non-members alike are invited to join the Driven By Excellence Awards Dinner & Charity Event, where we will honor your industry peers while helping to raise money for the Harold Berkman Fund. The dinner and auction will be held on Tuesday, February 25, at 8:00pm. Tickets for the event are available for $50 per person until 2/20/20, after which they will be $75 onsite per person.
