The education offered at the CD/NLA Executive Retreat affords a tight-knit group of operators the opportunity to drill down a bit more intensely than standard lecture hall sessions. When we hit Nashville this June 4-7, we’re thrilled to offer four sessions designed to approach business training in new and intriguing ways. While your registration includes two evening dinner parties, two days of breakfast and lunch, and a local tour of the legendary Ryman Auditorium, we truly believe that the education alone is worth the price of admission.
We’re kicking things off on Monday, June 5 with a highly interactive two-part workshop with Certified Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS) Implementer Justin Cook. He will introduce you to the EOS and the Six Key Components, a highly celebrated system that has helped many business owners take their success to the next level. In the first session of the day, you'll learn all the tools and disciplines used by Cook’s clients to get more of what they want from their businesses. Then, following our Vendor Meet and Greet and lunch at 2:15 pm, we’ll launch into Cook’s second session, where he will dive deep into the Accountability Chart and the Level 10 Meeting, two tools that have had an immediate impact on clients' businesses. By the end of the series, you'll have a set of practical tools to prioritize, find clarity on issues impacting your operation, and gain traction with your leadership team, leading to a healthier and more successful business.
On Tuesday, June 6, we’re going to take a leap into the next generation of business development: artificial intelligence (AI). While the concept may conjure up images of The Matrix, this exciting and timely session will explore how surprisingly easy tools like ChatGPT can potentially revolutionize costly parts of your business. AI is doing incredible things for corporations across the world in ways you probably don’t even realize. Spearheaded by Robyn Goldenberg of Strategy Leaders and moderated by CD/NLA Education Co-chair Jason Sharenow of Broadway Elite Worldwide, you'll discover how AI may help you improve HR operations, increase efficiency, save money, and provide valuable insights into customer behavior and preferences. Operators using the technology will be on hand to share their tactics and provide real-world examples of how it can benefit you, too. Discover specific use cases for AI in a variety of important functions, gain insights into best practices for implementation, and hear real-life success stories from industry leaders. For the timid among us, don’t worry—we’ll address your concerns too.
Immediately following this groundbreaking session, it’s time to get competitive. We’re excited to present Interactive Roundtables: Are You Exposed?—a “gamified” session that set teams against each other as they brainstorm solutions to unforeseen crises situations as well as ways to minimize any risk that could jeopardize the long-term health of your company. These won’t be your run-of-the-mill scenarios, but those HR and operations challenges that could quite literally make or break your business like a MeToo moment with a major client, a medical emergency with staff or leadership, or even a cyberattack. How can you plan for the unexpected? With so much out of your hands, the one area where you can gain control is in how you respond and think quickly when you’re in the middle of a catastrophe. But remember, this is still a fun and spirited competition: We’ll award a prize to the winning team that demonstrates the best ideas with clear reasoning under pressure.

Boston Chauffeur recently played in the sixth annual Dodging for Dollars fundraiser tournament to raise money for the Wakefield/Stoneham Boys & Girls Club of Massachusetts. The Peabody, Mass.-based luxury car operator joined 40 other companies that participated in the event.
Boston Chauffeur raised nearly $6,400 for the club and was the leading fundraising team. Company President Mark Kini was recognized with a “title belt” from New England Patriots Mascot Pat Patriot for being the top individual money raiser as well.
"I am a lifelong Wakefield resident,” says Kini. “I support the club because growing up there was no BGC club. The structure and programs the club offers are transformational for kids to have access to. The dodgeball tournament was a lot of fun. Our game got quite competitive, and it was all for a great cause."
Kini thanks many of his limousine company friends and vendors who donated and supported the event.
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Stoneham & Wakefield is a proud affiliate of Boys & Girls Clubs of America, the nation’s most effective youth development organization in the United States. Serving Greater Boston for nearly 50 years, the organization provides fun experiences and educational programming to over 3,000 members across our two locations after school and throughout the summer. They are proud to work with young people from a wide range of economic, social and family circumstances, regardless of their gender, ethnic and racial background.
