This is the first time in more than two decades that the TLPA has hosted a meeting in Alaska. The conference will be held at the distinctive Hotel Captain Cook in Anchorage. With views of Cook Inlet and the Chugach Mountains, the distinctive Hotel Captain Cook was recently inducted into the Historic Hotels of America, the official travel organization of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
A special room rate of $260 per night is being offered to the attendees. The room block expires on June 10 or whenever it seels out, whichever comes first. Attendees are encouraged to book their travel early.
All participants must register for the conference by June 10. There is no on-site registration. For more information or to register, go to www.tlpa.org and click on the “Meetings & Education” tab.
“Alaska’s official motto is ‘North to the Future,’ and that couldn’t be more appropriate for this conference,” said TLPA President Bill Scalzi. “This is where we can learn from the experience of major industry leaders as we chart our future. This is always one of the most intimate gatherings of any TLPA event, and it’s where participants can rub elbows with some of the brightest and most successful operators I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing.”
Operators who are new to TLPA can now take advantage of a 50 percent discount on membership dues for 2017.
