Grapevine, Texas — Members of the Dallas Fort Worth Limousine and Motorcoach Association (DFWLMA) got into the holiday spirit by helping Santa’s sleigh reach children in need, thanks to the association’s November-long toy drive that culminated a December 4 toy caravan.
DFWLMA’s efforts supported WFAA’s Santa’s Helpers, an organization now in its 50th year of collecting holiday toys for youngsters throughout the Dallas/Fort Worth counties of Collin, Dallas, Denton, and Tarrant. Once all the unwrapped toys were collected, the association met up at Ferrari's Italian Villa in Grapevine to deliver their bounty—with a police escort ensuring that the caravan of cheer had a snarl-free route.
Videos of the multi-vehicles caravan in action can be seen here.
The long-running Santa’s Helpers program provided holiday toys to more than 50,000 needy children throughout the four-county area during its 2018 drive.
The next DFWLMA event will be its February 26 meeting.
