The National Limousine Association (NLA) will host a free livestream on April 29 at 2 p.m. ET called The ABCs of ERC, in which guest speaker Walter Pennington of Dembo Jones Certified Public Accountants will explore the ins and outs of the Employee Retention Credit. The ERC under the CARES Act (2020) encouraged businesses to keep employees on their payroll with a refundable tax credit of 50 percent of up to $10,000 in wages paid by an eligible employer whose business has been financially impacted by the pandemic.
