Eight Black, a Colorado-based provider of secure global ground transportation, has acquired Central Florida-based Capri Transportation, according to an announcement on the company’s website. This is the company’s fifth acquisition in four year and is the first outside of its Colorado footprint.
Based in The Villages, just north of Orlando, Capri Transportation is an established black car service serving the Orlando area airports and point-to-point service in central Florida. Founded in 2019, Capri has more than 20 employees and a fleet of 10 vehicles.
“I am very excited about Capri Transportation joining the group. I personally think this is our most important acquisition yet,” said Eight Black’s CEO & Founder Simon Chen. “Florida is growing rapidly, and Capri is located in a market that is largely underserved.”
The new Capri Transportation, powered by Eight Black, will continue to serve the current market and is expected to expand into other nearby Florida regions.
The acquisition was facilitated by Jay Bales at Innovative Travel Acquisitions.
Chen founded Eight Black in July 2015 with one car and has grown the company into a multi-faceted provider of secure global ground transportation, executive protection, security consulting, airport shuttle operations, concierge, events, and logistics. The company prides itself on exceptional customer service, its ability to execute globally and an ability to anticipate the needs of the most discerning of clients.
