Bus, commercial, and recreational vehicle manufacturer Forest River recently announced changes to its management team following the 2024 death of founder and CEO Pete Liegl. According to the press release, the company will be spearheaded by a team of co-CEOs and a CFO who will manage its strategic direction. The team includes Co-CEOs Doug Gaeddert and David Wright and CFO Darel Ritchie.

All three have decades of experience with Forest River and worked closely with Liegl over the years. Wright will continue to lead the Commercial, Bus & Van division, while Gaeddert will oversee the RV division.

The three issued a joint statement following the announcement: “Pete’s vision and dedication were fundamental to Forst River’s growth and success. As we move forward, we are confident that the strong foundation he built will continue to inspire and guide us.”

Forest River, which was founded by Liegl in 1996 in Indiana, has more than 14,000 employees across 100 facilities. They are also part of the Berkshire Hathaway portfolio.
