Chauffeur Driven (CD) is pleased to announce that we have extended our agreement with the National Limousine Association (NLA) to continue as co-partners of the popular CD/NLA Shows. This new five-year deal will see the pair sharing in the production of three annual events, including the Executive Retreat, through mid-2032
“I want to thank NLA President Brett Barenholtz of Above All/Maine Limousine, as well as Board Members Jason Kaplan of The Driver Provider and Jason Sharenow of Broadway Elite Worldwide and NLA Executive Director Kyle Hammerschmidt, with whom we worked closely to get the deal over the finish line. Our collaboration has really been a well-oiled machine and unifying force for not only our organizations but the industry as a whole,” says CD President Chris Weiss.
“These events have grown into true cornerstones of our industry calendar,” says Barenholtz. “Each gathering delivers exceptional value through education, networking, and meaningful business development opportunities. Together with Chauffeur Driven partners Chris Weiss and Eric Alpert, we have created experiences that not only bring our community together but also elevate the standards and future of chauffeured transportation.”
CD and NLA first signed their deal in 2019, collaborating and working together at that year’s fall show in Boston. The partnership ultimately made their official debut at the 2020 CD/NLAShow in Las Vegas.
The new agreement comes at an exciting time, as the team recently announced the first international CD/NLA event: The Paris Executive Retreat in June 6–9, 2027. And operators and industry insiders can of course look forward to the fall event, held once again at the Gaylord National on October 25-27. Anticipation is also high for the return to the Paris Hotel on the Strip when CD and the NLA return to Vegas on February 28-March 2, 2027.
The annual shows provide industry operators with a solid and timely slate of educational seminars and workshops, opportunities to mingle and network professionally with their peers, and a robust exhibit hall with the industry’s top suppliers, tech companies, and OEMs. The CD/NLA Shows are the industry’s preeminent events for building your affiliate and partner relationships within the global chauffeured transportation industry. Meanwhile, the CD/NLA Executive Retreats are recognized for their in-depth education and intimate networking mixed with one-of-a-kind local experiences.
A shared core mission of CD and NLA is industry education and advocacy. NLA, the largest organization representing the interests of the private driver transportation industry at the global, national, state, and local level, works diligently to promote the welfare and safety of the operators nationwide to elected leaders. The association remains deeply involved in various legislative efforts impacting or benefiting the industry through events like its Day on the Hill, where members can meet with their elected representatives.
Likewise, CD produces a weekly e-newsletter and monthly publication filled with breaking information; operator profiles; business advice from industry experts; news from state, local, and national associations. Through the magazine’s regular Benchmark & Best Practices column, exclusive web content, and regularly conducted industrywide surveys, CD has their finger on the pulse of the industry and maintains a tight connection with their diverse readership.
“It’s truly an honor to be able to continue to work so closely with NLA’s staff and leadership,” adds Weiss. “When I got into this industry over 35 years ago—although it seemed unattainable—it was always a goal of mine to be working side-by-side with the NLA in producing shows and events. The CD team has always believed in the importance and power of associations and strength in numbers, and, as such, we could achieve our best by having everyone rowing in the same direction for the advancement and greater good of the industry.”
