California-based Urban Worldwide, a global leader in luxury executive transportation and logistics, has announced that Kelly Callahan has joined the company as officer of excellence. Formerly with Jax Black Car Transportation in Jacksonville, Florida, Urban CEO Dave Uziel says that Callahan brings a powerhouse combination of industry experience, operational excellence, and visionary leadership to the Urban team.
As the daughter of Richard and Theresa Callahan—founders of Jax Black Car—Callahan has spent years helping build one of the Southeast’s most respected chauffeured transportation brands. Her work at Jax Black Car helped scale operations from a regional footprint to a trusted nationwide provider, all while maintaining impeccable service standards and safety protocols, says Uziel.

“Kelly is the kind of leader who doesn’t just get the job done—she transforms how things are done,” says Uziel. “Her expertise in operations, dispatch, affiliate growth, and client service will help us scale smarter, grow faster, and continue delivering the high-touch experiences we’re known for.”
In her new role, Callahan will oversee day-to-day logistics across Urban Worldwide’s global network, and affiliate expansion, and help integrate new technology platforms aimed at elevating client satisfaction.

“I’ve admired Urban’s reputation for years,” says Callahan. “They’ve managed to combine luxury, innovation, and culture in a way few others in this space can. I’m beyond excited to join this next chapter.”
Callahan will be based out of Urban Worldwide’s San Francisco headquarters but will maintain close ties to her Southeast industry partners and clients.
